Brilliant! They emailed me a competitive quote straight away and arranged to do the job the next day. Steve was great and really helpful, totally trustworthy - I felt comfortable leaving him in the flat while I went out to buy something he had recommended that I needed and had researched where I should buy it from! i have since used silk Electricians again and Steve's number is in my phone for any future electrical issues. plastering chases job. spoke to him on the phone sounded good then when he got on the job. he started work. then sent me a text saying he as started then he as done 1 because he carnt get it done in one day. not even bothered to ring me and talk about the matter just left site then sent me a msg! very very not happy!

This tradesman did half of the job. He said that he would come back with his ladder to complete the job and I mistakenly paid him. He never came back and has been impossible to get hold of. I would not recommend him for any job ever again.

Rang quite quickly and arranged to come around on a weekend, unfortunately I had to work so had to cancel but they were very understanding. Then my dad made a surprise visit and did the plastering for me, so I didn't actually use them. I was impressed with the speed of the phone call and the very professional attitude when I had to cancel.
I am reliable, tidy and I finish the job in the time required. I am a holder of the CSCS Card (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) and also hold Public Liability Insurance. I have over 25 years of experience in flooring. [updated 2016]

Very unreliable. Shane and his co-worker never turned up when agreed. The quality and finish of the bathrooms was very poor. The mastic and tiling were of very poor quality even after replacing it for the second time. The first shower tray cracked within days (poor quality of sourcing of materials), after the second one being fitted it flooded badly into the lounge below resulting in a new ceiling being required, the walls needing to be replastered and new carpets required. The bath handle was also broken. The quality of the grouting work was also extremely poor, with some areas not even grouted. Communication very poor. No responsibility or apology for all of the errors or issues. I would not recommend SN Plumbing and Tiling to anyone.

DP Plumbing very quick to contact me, came out and looked at the job involved, rang me later that day, I accepted the quote and he started the next day, arrived at the time he said he would, all in all he did a fantastic job, took two days to complete and cleaned up after he had finished, would definitley use Darran again if I need any plumbing work doing

Michael was asked to do one job and has since been asked to decorate the whole house. He is extremely punctual and reliable. He tidies up and leaves the room as he found it. The quotes have been very competitive. Michael is amiable and a very fast worker. I feel completely at ease with him in the house, this is a good recommendation as I hate having workmen in the house.
