Water Tanks and Immersion Heater

I hired Charlie to replace my unvented cylinder tank. After paying for the job, he left. After checking the system, I noticed that the cylinder thermostat was not working & he or his plumber's mate had damaged both of my utility cupboard doors. I have asked him to fix it several times. It is now 4 weeks since it was originally installed. I said to him, either fix it in the next few days, or I will get someone else to fix it and send him the bill. He came out with threatening & foul language. DO NOT HIRE!

Paid over 8k for new radiators and a boiler. At first, communication was good. But he quickly became extremely unreliable. Often rescheduling or simply not turning up. Now, 5 months later, we still have some major issues (no boiler timer, ongoing water pressure issues, and a flue that's been poorly installed). An independent plumber from Vaillant said this should all be sorted out by the original plumber. BUT he's completely ignored us..!

Charlie quote to repair a leak. Price was too high for me. I either needed other quotes or to lower the price a little. We both agreed to a lower price. Job was to start two days later. That morning, he asked to shift the job to the next day - he was over-worked. The next day he cancelled at the start time - emergency. 3 days later he phoned me at the job start time to increase the price back to the original amount. 1 weeks time wasted, 3 times re-arranged, massive hassle for tenanants and me.

Charlie did more damage to my property than he solved. Had only very hot water coming from shower. He fitted the new part, but left holes in the walls. He attempted to use mosaic tiles to cover shower hole with no water proof membranes. It failed, looked awful & the shower still didnt work (he said it did & it didnt).
