It’s now beautifully paved, with gorgeous steps, flower beds, and fencing. The team worked incredibly hard in all weathers and were friendly and polite throughout. They did such a great job that we’re getting them back next year for another project! Highly recommend.

It’s unfortunate that I need to give them a poor rating , first instance absolutely great service , however since install the window hasn’t been weighted properly having been told it is . Having to tape it shut says otherwise. Second problem the weight is stuck in the box so now the window doesn’t function. Third issue the window leaks ! It’s hasn’t been sealed properly. Contacted numerous times but had no luck with trying to rectify these issues. No reply after many attempts. Disappointed

Matthew was easy to communicate with he was honest about the job and not put off by the private lane access - which meant all materials had to come down lane and through the house they were tidy - professional and attention to detail It was also very refreshing to see a trade man that had enough professional ability to only require £250 Deposit to hold date - did not need materials paid up front as he clearly runs a good cash flow company with good trade accounts. Sam gave a good price to supply and install solid oak stair cladding his workmanship was exceptional and outstanding. He was a lovely man couldn’t do enough for us. He cleaned up after himself. Previously a Production Engineer, but decided to change to a job that was more hands on with a good social connection. I chose building work – so I have a good balance of technical skills and practical skills gained over many year of working on Builds. My first two builds were complete builds from the ground up, so I had to seek out and get trades on-site to complete work I didn’t have the skills for. Over time I have carried out all sorts of work over the past few years from Setting out a site, Groundworks, Blockwork, Construction, Timber work/studding, Plaster boarding, Fitting kitchens and Bathroom, as well as Wooden Flooring and Tiling, and of course decorating. I leave plumbing, electrical work and plastering to the trades ( and have good contacts ) – but I have a good eye for detail but enjoy fitting kitchens, bathrooms, doors, skirting, and painting.
Sheridan was hired in Apr - initial communication and detailed quotes gave confidence however, once he started the job it became clear that his work was average at best and more honestly that of a weekend DIY’er. The job ran well over and he has yet to actually finish it (about to start claim against him for costs to finish job). His quotes where he contracts out to the trade aren’t accurate and he doesn’t check the cost with them so some very expensive surprises. Avoid at all cost.
