George and his team are experienced builders, replaced my front door with a custom frame/sidelights and raising the floor level in the hallway quite quickly - in fact, they were the only who came next day, gave a quote straightaway and were ready to start in just couple of days. Terrible experience all around. First bathroom was finished 2 weeks behind schedule and left with a leaking shower and lots of snags (messy grouting, misaligned taps, uneven tiles, etc). Second bathroom was ripped out and left unfinished because he had an accident (different stories) and no backup crew. Then, came back to fix snags from first bathroom but left loads undone/incomplete and, when confronted, he accused me of wanting to hold on to £200 for nearly a £20,000 bathroom project.
He turned up on time and kept us informed of progress. He is a conscientious worker and was willing to answer any questions we had. He left the working area clean and tidy. We will use him again
