But DIR Solutions have changed my mind. communication was excellent and they were able to complete the task and exceed my expectations. Tony contacted me straight away about a quote to replace some bathroom tiles and arranged to come to give a.quote soon after. The quote was very reasonable, and he was able to come within a couple of days to do the work he arrived in time, made little noise or mess. He cleaned up afterwards, and the job is first class. He even fitted a new shower mixer. Would recommend Tony, and will be asking him back when there are more jobs to do.

I was impressed how Amir took the job very quickly - he arrived to work a few hours after seeing the post. He was very friendly and polite and was happy to take the job. However, I really would not recommend him for carpentry work. This was an easy job, where the carpentry was already done and it just needed fitting. He arrived with the wrong tools (had to use mine) and very poorly fitted the cupboards and shelves, to the extent I had to pay another tradesperson to fix the job. The finish was awful.

Placed advert Thursday. Contacted same day by Mike with a view to coming out and quoting next day. Came on time priced the job on Friday and arranged to start work on the Tuesday. Mike worked with his son Silas. What a really nice pair. Genuine, polite and got on with the job even though I asked for a few tweaks along the way. Both very old school and worked at their own pace - happy with work carried out and will use them again. Reasonable price too.
