I had a lot of work done today - curtain rails put up, a rather drastic painting and filling in job to be done in the main room where an old fashioned radiator had been taken out, etc. The painting job was of real concern to me as this is a newly refurbished flat with no clue left as to what shade was used on the walls, but the match is faultless. I unhesitatingly recommend PS Building and Decorating, you honestly would have to search very hard to find a comparable standard of work. I

My career in roofing began in 1978, predominately on new build developments. In 1987, although continuing with the new builds, I began to branch out into domestic roofing. This included re-roofs, extensions, repairs and leak investigation. Alongside this, in 2010 I took a Contracts Manager position with a national roofing company, In this role I am responsible for the labour and materials required for various developments in the South East. It is also part of my role to oversee the customer service team. My contacts within the industry enable me to obtain very competitive prices on materials. I also have a large labour resource to carry out even the bigger jobs.

Ben contacted me promptly and gave me a quote over the phone - he came the following day to do the job and sent photos and a video of the work - everything was left clean and tidy. I'm fairly new to the industry, so I'm not yet jaded. I still find my work interesting! I like to make tomorrow better than today, and my work helps me achieve this in some small (or large) way to my clients. I'm looking for jobs on the small side of things, as I like to start and finish a job on the same day where possible! I have experience in: Changing light fittings, Adding new fittings to new positions and running wires to the new position, Adding external lights and security lights, Pendant lights and downlighters, Moving switches, Adding switches to control lights from another point, Replacing on-the-wall sockets to flush fittings with the box inside the wall - both brick walls and plasterboard walls, Upgrading single sockets to double sockets, Moving and adding sockets, Adding outside sockets, Replacing extractor fans, Connecting cookers and hobs, And probably a few other things that I've forgotten! My qualifications include a diploma in electrical installations, along with the calculations required to ensure the installation is electrically safe, using the correct size wires for the size and load of the circuit. I have Part P, the part of the building regulations for electrical work, as it affects the structure of the building. This is to ensure wires are run through the best places to ensure that they don't affect the integrity of your building. I also have a level 2 Inspection and Testing certification, to ensure that the electrical work I've done is wired up correctly, and safe given the size of the wires and the circuit breaker in the consumer unit (also known as the fuse board).

While I accept that anyone can have a run of bad luck, he was unable to complete work agreed for various reasons on three different agreed dates - twice because of illness and on one occasion because of trouble with his van. The ratings for quality and value are only there because I could not proceed without completing these boxes and do NOT reflect actual work done.
