I’ve been a qualified decorator for over 30 years, moved to Polegate 18 months ago and still work in London, now I’ve had enough of the travelling and want to work more locally, painting, decorating and wallpapering are my specialty also property maintenance, I also do steam Jetwash using a Doff system jet wash, I’m fully insured and a member of safe contractor scheme, references given if required. I was looking for a plasterer to do my son's room before painting it and so was confused when James approached me for the job. He is a decorator. He said that plastering the walls was unnecessary because my walls were "90% there". He said filling, sanding and painting them would save me money and time so I agreed to hire him. So much went wrong and ultimately he left my walls in a state. Cheekily he asked to be paid before finishing. I fell for it and now he has done a runner!
