George and his team are experienced builders, replaced my front door with a custom frame/sidelights and raising the floor level in the hallway quite quickly - in fact, they were the only who came next day, gave a quote straightaway and were ready to start in just couple of days. The job started as refurbishing a kitchen extension. Nik and his guys worked quickly and paid attention to detail. Nik came up with the best possible layout given the space. I liked the way he worked so he ended up refurbishing the whole house. He made use of the materials and fixed things that needed fixing as he went along all within the quoted price. Blockops teams created and knocked through my kitchen wall into my living space adding an extension, and creating a downstairs bathroom. They did an amazing job. He efficiently installed a cooker circuit for an induction hob by inserting and connecting a 15m wire from the island in our open plan kitchen-dining-living area under the flooring to the switchboard (under the stairs). He surveyed requirements the day before and came up with a constructive, workable solution. Another company expressed an interest in the work but only highlighted potential obstacles and challenges.

The building was constructed to a very high standard and finish, with a number of exposed/natural materials. Minor changes were never an issue and no request was too big. We are very happy with the works and would be more than happy to recommend for further works.

I was badly disappointed with the work, discussed this with Petru, sent him photos, he was still adamant he had done excellent work. I had to engage another contractor, who I had to pay not only to do the work, but to undo the poor outcome of Petru's work. I hired Petru based on his excellent feedback, and considered asking him to do more work in my home; I regret that decision, and will not hire contractors via websites like this any time again.
