James responded promptly to my enquiry and advised that the post could be repaired but that he would need to find bricks to match the original post. The price eventually quoted was deemed fair for the job. Given the age of the original post and therefore the weathered state of the brickwork, the finished repair looks great, the quality of the bricklaying and match of the bricks is just fine. Robert had to deal with a very neglected garden, he listened to what i wanted to achieve and advised on how to improve the condition of the soil, as my garden is mostly clay based his advice was very welcome, in the 2 hours he spent doing a first tidy and cutting down of old shrubs the transformation was stunning, we have agreed on further work in 2 weeks time , when compost and plants/shrubs will be added to the garden, his pricing is very reasonable, Rob is very polite and cleans up after work
