Richard has done a good job painting our garden fences with preservative. One possible drawback is reviews of preservative chosen by Richard suggests it is of poor quality so may not last too long. Job took a long time from initial enquiry due to very wet and windy weather all winter, but I was kept informed of delays throughout. Happy to recommend Richard.

Tom came to quote and gave a figure much higher than expected. I knew before the £500 was too low but to put £1000 seemed OTT. Discussed requirements and Tom researched the prices. Sliding doors were very expensive. We decided on hinged ones instead saving about £200. The final figure was above budget but I felt it was worth it to have the study I wanted. Tom came when said he would and worked hard to complete the project in the time quoted. I like the quality of result and am pleased with the workmanship.

James is a true craftsman. He is hardworking, punctual, reliable, trustworthy and a great guy. James has a vast knowledge and the ability to carry out all various types of work asked of him. We feel very lucky to have found such a nice bloke who does a real quality job. Unlike a lot of builders James does a full day's work and is very conscientious and charges a fair price. The job was well divided into separate teams, which allowed the job to move on in a defind way, so that we could follow and understand its progress. Each team were clearly experts in there field. This resulted in the job being completed in a timely manner, considering the weather, and to our complete satisfaction. Mark and his apprentice turned up on time, erected their scaffolding and repaired the lead on the back of the chimney. It took less time than he thought and adjusted the price accordingly. Having his own scaffolding makes a huge difference to both the price and timescale. Definitely recommended.
