Excellent work completed by Peter and Charlie. The end result has made the section of my garden completely usable and the use of a gate in the rear of the pergola is clever to hide tools and water butt. They were clean, tide and took all waste including extra that I had laying around. Would totally use them again.

Kyle was very professional and fitted our worktops to a very high standard. He had a couple of technical issues to workaround due to the depth of some of our units but he had no problem sorting it out. I'd definitely recommend Kyle for any carpentry works.

You can see why Smith & Son get a good rating. You get a friendly builder that does a good job. We employed him to fit a steel beam and a door lintel. The site was tidied up on completion and advice was given about covering the beam and contacting building control. Thanks Ian and team, great job, thoroughly recommended.

Chris took time to understand what I wanted and was always willing to amend the plans to ensure that he had interpreted my requirements. I have been involved in the electrical mechanical and general building trades for over 35 years. I have not over the years taken pictures of (wires sorry a bit boring...) my electrical, plumbing, or mechanical work as this is not something you really think of when sorting out leaks or fault finding electrical issues etc. I have recently joined this web site and have found some conversion work pictures for a garage conversion. General building, slate patio, blockwork, window installation, patio door installation, wiring for electronic smart shower, plumbing, Velux window installation, tiling, carport, etc Also some recent garden fence replacement work... I started out after leaving college with electrical installation and appliance repair, auto electrical work, alarm fitting, mainly fault finding and rectification with a strong sense of where problems are possible and the personality of being able to sort most issues out quickly and with the least time and disruption for all parties involved. Previous work has included listed buildings, churches, The bank of England, M O D Whitehall, country estate maintenance and security. A large volume of diverse experiance in many trades. I am extremely neat and tidy in my work, and have very high standards. I have worked for the Royal Household designing and fitting lighting for the queen in St James palace. I can also undertake most jobs around the home please read the list of work undertaken. I look forward to helping you resolve any issues or problems you may have.....
