George and his team are experienced builders, replaced my front door with a custom frame/sidelights and raising the floor level in the hallway quite quickly - in fact, they were the only who came next day, gave a quote straightaway and were ready to start in just couple of days. Over all, an excellent job was done although due to poor weather, a three day job became a three week one. Several unseen problems became apparent during this work, but everything was explained and reasons given for delays / further expense. Time keeping wasn’t great as on many occasions they’d arrive after 09:00 and would have gone by 16:00 at the latest. However, very satisfied with the result.

Prompt and very reassuring as I was in a panic. Temp repair within a couple of hours which fully held the torrential rain out. Scaffold arrived next day and the roof fully repaired by the end of the day. They even cleaned my gutter while they were up there! Kept me fully informed throughout, with photos of what they had done, and has rung since to make sure everything is OK in the terrible weather. Would definitely recommend.

He has transformed our garage to a lovely bedroom and created a new shower room between the house and garage for my mother in law - 5 weeks and just a bit of touching up to complete the work. The Project Manager was also on hand to answer any questions I had and offered me adviced on how best to move forward. We ended up refurbishing our entire bathroom which is looking great now. Not a bad job overall. A few negatives: changed shower screen spec without consultation with the client. Did not provide floor protection initially. After first day, did not clear up or remove large amount of dust. During evening of first day, water pipe joint sprung a leak. Turned out a push-on connector was not fitted properly. Client had to turn the water supply off. Some finishing not good. Outside tap left at an inconvenient angle.
