DO NOT RECOMMEND. Roof is still leaking just weeks after he ‘fixed’ it. Darren Sawyer is refusing to come back or refund the money. He has simply said that we need to start over with a new roof and will not reply to any messages.

About me i have over 12 years in the trade and started my own company in 2019 as I was working for a company doing shop fitting there was no room for progression so I started my own business in joinery. Last year my company went limited I’ve done over 5 years in college and university I have my level 2 & 3 in carpentry and joinery (city and guilds) and I also have my degree in construction management (Bsc). I’m new to this platform but not new in the trade I have an eye for detail and no corners are cut I aim to do a job as though it was my own. We do all kinds of home repairs except roofing and gas boilers: Wiring , electrical , plumbing , bonding , skimming , plasterboards , full bathroom build , kitchens , removing and building new walls , extensions. Replacement windows , new frames and doors. New ceilings and flooring. Partial or complete removal of chimneys. Artificial grass , new patio with flags. Painting and decoration.

Initially he was ok but quality of work meant I had to keep asking him to come back to fix the work. Difficult to get him back even though work guaranteed for 12 months.

Friendly and honest lads. Martin came looked at the roofing job told me what was needed and how much. A few days later they came and did the job found a few more faults but put these right as well at no extra cost. Great work, friendly and cleaned up after themselves. Will be using them again.

Luke gave a decent quote for some roof, paving & fence work. What they did complete was good, but they did not finish the job. Communication was very frustrating and I had to constantly chase for updates. I stupidly paid the full balance after the garden was complete, but before the roof work was. It's now 9 weeks on & despite repeated assurances that they will come back (and me offering a further £200 to complete the roof work), I do not believe they intend to return. 3/5

If I could change to Zero I would. Once they did the job, took the money they have blanked all requests to check a snagging issue. One window sill leaking, have called, texted and just getting fobbed off on last call they said they would call back in 5 minutes - that was 3 days ago….. #Avoid

This company contacted me after my request for a quote. We discussed all the details and they were helpful at first. They promised to provide a quote the next day or two but 3 weeks later and I am still waiting. Even after they read my whats app messages they dont reply. It is basic respect to reply when a customer is chasing a 3 week old request. Don't bother with them they waste your time. I cant give no stars but they deserve it. IF they cannot find time to do a quote they shouldn't chase more work.
