George and his team are experienced builders, replaced my front door with a custom frame/sidelights and raising the floor level in the hallway quite quickly - in fact, they were the only who came next day, gave a quote straightaway and were ready to start in just couple of days. Not a good experience. Quoted £600 to replace 2 pieces of trellis, fix fence posts and do a general garden tidy up. In total he spent 1/2 a day on the job, so very expensive. The garden tidy was ok if cursory. The job on the trellis was unfortunately not adequate. The fence posts weren't secured, so it remained wobbly, leaning to one side, the trellis wasn't on straight and was split in some places by the screws he's used. Less than 3 months later the trellis fell down. He refused to refund for the labour.

Marco responded straight away to my advertised job, and was able to start immediately. Great communication throughout, arrived on time and had the emulsion job done within the day, as well as stripping wallpaper and patching up a little hole previously caused by a broken blind. Amazing service From Alen and his team. His quote beat the competition by far, but without any compromise on the windows. We were only planning to have new wooden double glazed windows for the front of the house, but were actually able to have new windows for the whole house. Alen also made suggestions which we had not thought about. He said we would have beautiful new windows and he has delivered. Clean, polite and kept informed throughout the process. Wholeheartedly recommended.

Replacement windows , new frames and doors. New ceilings and flooring. Partial or complete removal of chimneys. Artificial grass , new patio with flags. Painting and decoration.
Initially he was ok but quality of work meant I had to keep asking him to come back to fix the work. Difficult to get him back even though work guaranteed for 12 months.

Hi I’m Darren, I have been in roofing trade for 32 years since leaving school to join the family business. I also do building works. UPVC works. All guttering. Full new roofs to small repairs. Ten percent discount for OAP,s I have public liability insurance up to 1 million pounds.
DO NOT RECOMMEND. Roof is still leaking just weeks after he ‘fixed’ it. Darren Sawyer is refusing to come back or refund the money. He has simply said that we need to start over with a new roof and will not reply to any messages.

It’s unfortunate that I need to give them a poor rating , first instance absolutely great service , however since install the window hasn’t been weighted properly having been told it is . Having to tape it shut says otherwise. Second problem the weight is stuck in the box so now the window doesn’t function. Third issue the window leaks ! It’s hasn’t been sealed properly. Contacted numerous times but had no luck with trying to rectify these issues. No reply after many attempts. Disappointed
