James Butler also trades as CGS Landscapes. He paved my driveway with poor quality slabs in September 2024 blaming the manufacturer and not himself. More broken slabs has been replaced by him 3 times in 6 months. He has refused to respond to my calls. He texted back calling me. STUPID when I texted him to say I will report him to RatedPeople and the authorities. More slabs broke 2 days ago. Sent him the picture. He simply texted back: MOVED TO DEVON NO LONGER WORKING. We confirmed the price and scope of works in writing and he confirmed back to start and finish over the bank holiday. Our client had arranged to stay elsewhere. The day before he was due to start, he cancelled with a lame excuse. Totally left us looking very stupid and the client very upset. Do yourself a favour and look elsewhere.

I couldn’t recommend Szilard (and his team) more highly. Very high attention to detail when painting and decorating and nothing is a problem. As well as decorating Szilard has moved sockets, light fittings, fixed shower screens, re-configured wardrobes to name but a few additional jobs that have arisen along the way. He has been back a number of times now and is punctual and tidy in his work.
