George and his team are experienced builders, replaced my front door with a custom frame/sidelights and raising the floor level in the hallway quite quickly - in fact, they were the only who came next day, gave a quote straightaway and were ready to start in just couple of days. Cliff, he was efficient, reliable, well priced and an excellent tradesman. We called him in to repair a chimney breast and fix our garage which was leaking. We were delighted with the work on the chimney, he is a fantastic render and plasterer. cliff is now renovating our bathroom, plus our neighbours are also putting him to work. An added bonus is he is a good communicator so he was able to work with our two very different personalities with different ideas, Cliff took it all in his stride.

Terrible experience all around. First bathroom was finished 2 weeks behind schedule and left with a leaking shower and lots of snags (messy grouting, misaligned taps, uneven tiles, etc). Second bathroom was ripped out and left unfinished because he had an accident (different stories) and no backup crew. Then, came back to fix snags from first bathroom but left loads undone/incomplete and, when confronted, he accused me of wanting to hold on to £200 for nearly a £20,000 bathroom project.
Total waste of my time. Clearly advertised for a tradesman to install my alarm and they sent alarm salesmen instead. I will have use the yellow pages next time.Thanks.
