Vaclav did a really good job, turned up when he said he would and charged the price quoted. Our floors were last sanded and varnished about 16 years ago so they were pretty worn. He re-sanded and re-varnished with 3 coats. I was particularly impressed that there was no dust and everything was left very clean each day.

First time I've engaged a tradesman after becoming a homeowner. Explained exactly what needed to be done and why (shows me evidence of various bit clogging up thanks to limescale) kept me informed when he was going to be late (this was down the snowy conditions) all work done on time and as expected things work so much easier now. Left the flat in a good clean condition afterwards.

James Butler also trades as CGS Landscapes. He paved my driveway with poor quality slabs in September 2024 blaming the manufacturer and not himself. More broken slabs has been replaced by him 3 times in 6 months. He has refused to respond to my calls. He texted back calling me. STUPID when I texted him to say I will report him to RatedPeople and the authorities. More slabs broke 2 days ago. Sent him the picture. He simply texted back: MOVED TO DEVON NO LONGER WORKING. Please don’t hire James Butler.

Monta Ltd where very professional and extremely helpful throughout our bathroom refurb. They offered advice throughout the process and never gave any hard sale but explained the options and what it would mean and cost for any changes to what we wanted. The final outcome was a beautiful bathroom that makes us feel like we are in a top class hotel.

He did a fantastic job fitting my wardrobes —the finish was exactly what I was hoping for and they looked amazing! Not only was he efficient and thorough, but he was also extremely tidy, leaving everything spotless once the job was done. I was especially impressed that he came 3 hours early to accommodate the early delivery of the wardrobes. That level of flexibility and dedication is rare and very much appreciated. The two guys that came, were, quick, clean, polite, took extra rubbish for no extra money, kept in contact throughout the day, recommend highly, will use again, good thing is they are part of a team that do most work that needs to be done in or out of the house. Very happy.
