After struggling to find a decent plasterer in the past when we needed to find someone to plaster the downstairs of our house we turned to Rated People. Contractors made arrangements to call, arrived on time, they seemed very nice & efficient; however we did not receive a quote as promised, when I queried it; he apologized saying he thought he had emailed me to say it would be late as he had broken his collarbone. Then I received a text saying he wasn't going to quote as he was off sick for 6 weeks, so unfortunately we are unable to rate his work...

Excellent work carried out by Sean to first remove the old ceiling and then replace and skim it. Made a great job of the additional window work that needed doing and did some other additional skimming to ensure the job was completed to a high standard. The end result was outstading and carried out in a very professional manner. The space we were working with was awkward and there were no bedroom/ wardrobe specialists who could create something in the space we had. Dom had one initial site visit and took all measurements down before completeing the work off site. The wardrobes, drawers and shelves were then fitted in one day. What was created looks as though it has always been there which is superb given the space he had to work with. Well recommended.
Ken, took on additional work for me outside the original decorating that I required. He was quick, very well priced, professional and I will be using him moving forward to maintain my rental houses. Have already recommended him to friends and neighbours and will continue to do so. Just wish he could help with the work I now have out in OZ...!! ;-)
