Mr Kefford responded to my quote request quickly, visited that afternoon. I'd initially asked for a tile replacement, but we discussed other work I thought might need doing and he gave me options, explanations and a realistic view of what actually needed doing, which I appreciated and which influenced my choosing him. Bruce visited to look at the job, gave his view on what was required and provided a quote quickly. He arranged scaffolding, re-rendered chimney and added slate top, removed and replaced the render on the gable wall, including filling a hole that was uncovered in the flue and adding bell cast. No fuss, good communication and great work all at a reasonable price.

From our first communication to the projects completion David proved totally reliable and professional with a pleasant and friendly approach. My lounge was well covered in dust sheets and was then vacuumed and polished ensuring it was left as he had found it. I was delighted with the outcome of the project and would thoroughly recommend David for his attitude approach and professionalism.

Over all, an excellent job was done although due to poor weather, a three day job became a three week one. Several unseen problems became apparent during this work, but everything was explained and reasons given for delays / further expense. Time keeping wasn’t great as on many occasions they’d arrive after 09:00 and would have gone by 16:00 at the latest. However, very satisfied with the result.

Malcolm was prompt and helpful, giving us advice when asked and buying fixtures to match our existing ones. He did a fantastic job and we are so pleased with the end result! He is a lovely chap with a good sense of humour which also put us at ease with having the work done. We will be making sure we use him in the future and will recommend him to our friends.

I cannot praise Christopher/W Spencer Interiors enough from the initial contact through to the completion of the project. Chris took time to understand what I wanted and was always willing to amend the plans to ensure that he had interpreted my requirements. He was reliable and always responded to emails and turned up when he said he would! Finally, the quality of his carpentry is outstanding. Highly recommended.
