The job was to relay and flatten a lawn. This has turned out to be half an acre of thistles and other perrenial weeds. There is grass, but you cannot see it unless you look down through the thistles. When he left on 4/4 I was assured he would come the following week to move the rideon lawnmower he had left stranded in the garden. After 3 months, numerous phone calls and emails later I am still waiting. I would definitely not recommend.

I have been working in the waste management industry now for over 26 years. I started working at a landfill/ quarry that’s where I learnt how to drive machinery .I have worked for subcontractor for Essex and Hartford Council , then I worked for one of the largest waste management companies , before I went on my own , I have lots of knowledge about how recycling works and this helps me pass on to my customers . We are very friendly and reliable and honest I will always give a fair price

This was one of those jobs that had various problems from the start. Having said that SMS did put them all right without complaint. The quote given for the clearing of the site AND the complete redesign was excellent. The original deadline was missed by a long way primarily due to misjudging the anomalies of the site (eg the underlying concrete was a lot thicker than anticipated). SMS were slow in clearing the site after the work was done - it took almost three weeks before the last of the rubble and debris were moved. Overall, I am pleased with the work done and the final result and would be prepared to use them again.

We can't recommend Arbiter Coatings enough! Bill was extremely helpful right from the quote stage to completion of the work. He offered us a solution to covering up the fake stone front of our home to give us the exact result we had hoped for when no-one else could. Don't be put off if you are a distance away from where Bill is based as Arbiter Coatings travelled a long way to us and had other jobs in our area, We can see why these guys are in high demand.

Ricardo has come twice to work for me - he is efficient, tidy, thoughtful about problems, cleared up afterwards and was very pleasant to deal with. When he had to cancel/postpone/or was going to be late he gave notice and made clear re-arrangements. When an element of the work to be done became urgent Ricardo came promptly to help out.

I wouldn't? recommend this firm as they promise to give you a disc containing still and moving pictures of your drains but they don't appear to know how to operate their camera. Consequently I only received a disc containing corrupted files, and when they re-took images of my drains i did not receive a file at all. And when I queried if a section of the relined drains was properly sealed they failed to return to my house. I recommend anyone not to part with any money until completely satisfied.

Oli is superb. Tidy, conscious, and adaptable. He stripped out the plasterboard walls and studwork in our home prior to remodelling. He worked quickly and confidently and respected our home. Whilst stripping out he came across some asbestos and he dealt with it appropriately, contacting an asbestos registered colleague and bagging it up and safety removing it at a very reasonable cost. We plan on using him again soon
