Andrew is a nice guy and does quality work, but for kitchen tiling I am afraid to say is very slow; approx 4 tiles per hour (100x200mm) or 0.8 sq m a day (10 hours). I personally (a diy'er) can do 15 tiles an hour - i.e. 4 times faster. £250 at day is expensive. (My electrician is £175 a day) I ended up capping the job at £600 and decided to complete tiling and grouting myself after 3 days. I would not have hired Andrew if I knew he was this slow and as a result expensive.

Matt a really nice guy from Multi Trades turned up to assess and quote for the repair and re-tiling of our leaking shower. He gave me a very reasonable quote which I accepted, told me when he could start and duly did. All through the job he was efficient, courteous, clean and tidy. He finished the job to our complete satisfaction on time and on budget. There are more jobs we need doing round the house so I will definitely be calling on Matt again. I would thoroughly recommend you do too.

I am a self employed tradesman, with over 18 years experience. I specializes in the wet trade (plastering, all types of rendering, dashing, screed floor and concrete work), I am also experience in wood flooring, tilling, slabbing etc.
Started off very well. Putting on the tiles was extremely good but the grouting was a different ballgame. Not that good I'm afraid. Some parts not the best and grout dried out all over every tile which took 2 1/2 hours to clean off. Very surprised.
