Hi let me introduce my self and my company. My name is Lee Emerson and i am the managing Director of Emerson Building Contractors. We are a family run company and I have been in the building industry for 30 years working in London on huge site projects which i did love but to now working locally on more personal projects such as single new builds, to extensions. loft conversions and refurbishments. Here at EBS we understand that alot of builders can start and finish projects but i dont beleive they have the finishing detailing that we do and we do strive to get better and better with each project we complete. Ian and Peter were extremely adept at identifying the issues with the wiring of our kitchen, providing a quote with a fast turnaround. On the day of the fix, the two of them were professional, polite and personable, sorting the issue and explaining what the issue was and what steps had been taken to rectify the problem. Can't recommend them enough!

Great service and really excellent workmanship. John was very patient when we changed the design slightly and was very helpful in helping us achieve our dream shower room. We would highly recommend him and our friends who saw the finished job have already made plans for him to quote for thier bathroom. We told Pedro what we wanted and he did some CGI images for us, we chatted on the phone about stuff and also things we liked. His attention to detail was brilliant, he worked quickly and kept us up to date with the projects development with pictures. Nothing was too much trouble, and we couldn't be happier with the completed job. In fact we have divided this project in two, phase one is now done and we will start phase two early next year. Gary made an excellent job of laying laminate flooring and replacing all the skirting boards in two rooms. Very pleasant to deal with and tidied up after himself too! Very reasonable price and wouldnt hesitate to recommend him.

Unfortunately as soon as the work was done we developed a leak in the roof (I'm not saying they are related). We were told by Alan's son that the damp was simply the wall drying out. It wasn't and got progressively worse. We did contact Alan again who said he'd come around but didn't. Three other builders have said that the lead work wasn't correctly done and we've since had to pay for it to be redone.

We used Benny's Building Services to replace a garden tap and HP ball valve in the loft water tank. The work was carried out to a high standard and very promptly at a fair price. Very polite and helpful tradesman. No job is too small. We would most certainly use this firm again in future.
