George and his team are experienced builders, replaced my front door with a custom frame/sidelights and raising the floor level in the hallway quite quickly - in fact, they were the only who came next day, gave a quote straightaway and were ready to start in just couple of days. They also had all the necessary tools and materials, were ready to buy something additional quickly on the day - if further adjustments were required to fit everything as I asked. Andy and his team did an excellent job replacing my laminate flooring. They worked very hard on both days they were at the house and the standard of work was top notch. Very pleased with the flooring and would highly recommend this tradesman.

I really wouldn’t recommend these guys. The work they did was shoddy with lots of cut corners. Couldn’t even cut the flooring pieces in a straight line. So disappointed with the finish they did.

Unfortunately Colin cannot be recommended for reliability at all. Despite fitting 2 French doors to our lounge, these did not operate satisfactorily, with the snib being poorly fitted and the doors not aligned correctly, despite his attempts to sort. The promised installation of a dining room door never materialised due to many "issues" on the part of Colin. A refund of the price paid for the door was requested, and I now have to employ another joiner to rectify the work done and paid for. Not recommended
Im a fully qualified joiner but i do most of other trades as well. I like to do your job myself which may take a little longer but for you, you only have one person in your house thats trustworthey and everything is done right and in the right order. Stops any “well he never told me to do that”. Hope to here from you.

With a leaky roof, these guys came out on a Sunday and the job was done within 3 days. They went out of their way to solve our problem. I would reccomended these guys and use them again without hesitation.
We are a landscaping company. As well as digger hire with operative the company also specialise in landscaping. We can help with driveways, mono block, tar, concrete, and extensions, astroturf, returfing, decking, fencing and slabbing.
Still has not finished our decking, after starting in December 2019. We have paid MrMackie for all the materials and they have not arrived
After receiving insurance quotes and being obliged to select the lowest price, we were leg down. Jason was a close second so we got permission to award the work to HSW. The job began two weeks earlier than expected and is now complete after 2 days. Very tidy and pleasant workers and we are pleased with the standard of workmanship.

Fence posts turned out not to be dug deep enough resulting in fence blowing down. John Paul arranged to repair then did not turn up and did not answer texts and calls. I am left with no fence and garden completely exposed to public footpath.

Incomplete works , shoddy finishing , plaster cracking already , doors falling off , faulty plumbing causing leak leading to more repairs / money . No point in phoning . I’ll sort it myself .
