As a full time firefighter I compliment this role by being a fully qualified plasterer with certificates up to NVQ level 3. I also hold a teaching qualification in plastering. During this time, I have worked on many projects ( both in the UK and abroad) which include new builds (some large developments) and extensive renovation work on older properties. I have also worked in the social housing industry on a Reactive Response team. My expertise lies in plastering, but I am also a multi-skilled engineer and can turn my hand to almost any building work. I have many references from past employers who will verify the fact that my work is to a very high standard and that I am a clean and tidy worker. Laurence’s workmanship was excellent:. The job was to skim a heavily Artexed ceiling and to feather in at the edges to avoid changing the coving and yet leave a nice edge profile visible on the coving. I waited to post a rating so that I could see the ceiling dry and apply a mist (dilute) coat of paint to the plaster. That reveals any issues. I’m pleased to say the quality is excellent -no problems at all and will be working with Laurence in the future.
