About me i have over 12 years in the trade and started my own company in 2019 as I was working for a company doing shop fitting there was no room for progression so I started my own business in joinery. Last year my company went limited I’ve done over 5 years in college and university I have my level 2 & 3 in carpentry and joinery (city and guilds) and I also have my degree in construction management (Bsc). I’m new to this platform but not new in the trade I have an eye for detail and no corners are cut I aim to do a job as though it was my own. I went with this person because I thought their price was really good but I got what I paid for. The plastering is all completely uneven, with gouges out of it it lots of places. Around the plug sockets was left as big holes so I had to go round and fill them all myself (about 10 sockets). The room was left in a complete state with plaster all over the floor and window. I was also told I would be sent an invoice, then on the day was asked over to pay by bank transfer before I had even seen the work.

I hired HB Property Services to carry out alterations to a door at a rental property I own. The initial finish looked good, but the door no longer closed properly afterwards and required a return visit at additional cost. While I can’t be certain the issue was caused by the work, we had no prior problems. More concerning was my tenant’s experience, describing the contractor as unprofessional and making her feel uncomfortable. I will not use them again.
