George and his team are experienced builders, replaced my front door with a custom frame/sidelights and raising the floor level in the hallway quite quickly - in fact, they were the only who came next day, gave a quote straightaway and were ready to start in just couple of days. I had a lot of work done today - curtain rails put up, a rather drastic painting and filling in job to be done in the main room where an old fashioned radiator had been taken out, etc. The painting job was of real concern to me as this is a newly refurbished flat with no clue left as to what shade was used on the walls, but the match is faultless. Andrew, one of their carpenter’s turned up at the agreed times, we found out he does staircases so we got him to fit our new hand/baserails and spindles as well as laying our floor. Ryan basically saved my bacon when my flat roof collapsed a week before I was due to go on holiday. His quote was very reasonable and he managed to shift some of his other jobs to come and replace both the roof and the ceiling two days after he gave me the quote. I was apprehensive at first before making my first enquiries to get my job done as I haven’t done this kind of thing before. I was contacted by Nick at New Builds and he came to visit the site and explained everything to me in detail. The team at New Builds handled the job exceptionally well and kept me updated throughout the process. I was made aware of the costs all the way through which was helpful. I even needed some changes to the job which was handled just as well. I will be using them in the future.
